An ethical fashion showcase benefitting Aid To Artisans in celebration of the 62nd Anniversary of the United Nations. With a catwalk featuring Basia Frossard, Belabumbum, Chacha Boy, Kimberly Kouture, Liliana Castellanos, Natalia Naftalieva, and Orangia.
Hosted by Anchorman Will Thomas and Jaci Wilson-Reid with special appearances by Rickey Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd, celebrity DJ Beverly Bond, and the Washington Wizards Wives. Also featured a Chocolate Suite by Edward Marc Chocolatiers.

In addition to increasing awareness among the general consumer and the design industry, Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP) is also looking to communicate its mission to thought leaders and policy makers. On Tuesday, October 23rd 2007 at the George Washington University, in partnership with Aid To Artisans, the Fair Trade Federation and the United Nations Association, FFP hosted a forum for discussing "Can Fashion Fight Poverty?" Held during United Nations Week, the dais featured representatives from a) the corporate world, b) the fashion industry, c) the non-profit sector and d) an international organization. Panel members discussed the relationship between fashion and issues such as environmental sustainability, fair trade and equitable employment.

The launch of FFP's 2007 "Dress Responsibly" look-book was hosted by Michael Romeo's Lotus Lounge on 14th and K. Celebrating its second edition at the time, the Dress Responsibly Look Book is the official style guide of Fashion Fights Poverty. Produced by creative professionals who donated their time and talent, the result is an eye-catching resource for those interested in alleviating poverty through socially responsible fashion.
The 2007 Look Book featured images of Brad Arnold (Three Doors Down) Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Rockie Lynne, Danielle Peck, Hello Tokyo, Jaci Reid, Katherine Kennedy and many more. Photographs by Cedric Angeles, Timothy Coburn, Michael Dumlao, J. Romeo, Clare Smith, Douglas Sonders.
