Special Shopping Event at Sheyla's Boutique of Georgetown

Sheyla's Boutique of Georgetown hosted a special night of shopping in support of Fashion Fights Poverty.

15% of proceeds for the evening were donated to Fashion Fights Poverty programs and initiatives raising awareness, encouraging and supporting creative, effective and sustainable means to challenge poverty.

Hors d'oeuvres provided by Morton's of Georgetown, Peroni and Champagne provided while shoppers mingled among European style Women's and Men's Wear such as Desigual, Analili, La Cite, Body Language, Custo and AVVA.

Working closely with the Embassy of the Philippines and the Centennial Tribute committee, this celebration of 100 years of Philippine-US migration featured a fashion show by renowned Filipino designer, J. Over 300 of DC's most fabulous enjoyed manicures, hair styling, make-up tips and well-deserved massages. On a recent Saturday in June, a sophisticated and well-dressed crowd gathered poolside at the Washington Terrace Hotel to shop, mingle, and experience the latest in high fashion and design during DIP: A Fashion Groove, hosted by Dinner in the City (DITC).
